Finish the Superior School and began studying law at the Faculty of Philosophy at Córdoba. At the same time, he took classes in drawing and painting in her studio of renowned Cordovan painter Miguel del Moral. Founder with other artists of the cultural magazine “Canticle Group”. He studied at the Arts and Crafts Schools of Córdoba, Granada and Santa Isabel de Hungría in Seville. Years 1.971, 1.972 and 1.973.
During the following years, traveling in Europe, Asia and Africa, learning new techniques and experimenting with new artistic and philosophical perspectives.
In this period of time, he makes several collections of painting and drawing in England, France, Italy, Portugal, Bulgaria, Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, Morocco and Algeria. Years 1.973 – 1.981. USA 1993
He works at Carbonell y Cía de Córdoba in the Advertising and Public Relations Department. 1976
Learn the technique of engraving (drypoint and etching), in the School Workshop of Arts and Crafts of Cordoba, under the direction of the painter and engraver Emilio Serrano. Year 1.982.
In the same year, custom made by GM Opel dealership in Cordoba, large mural for permanent display.
Later between the years 1.997 and 2.000, he made two ceramic murals and an oil on canvas mural for this same company.
Learn the technique of glazed ceramic in Seville. Years 1.986 – 1.988.
Work designing for manufacturers of china and porcelain with society “Ceramics Curry Comb, SA” in Madrid. Years 1.990 – 1.992.
He has worked for some decoration and interior design firms such as “Casa & Jardín”. Madrid.
Currently, Ignacio Navarro works in his studio in Marbella, Malaga, where he lives with his family.
His work is focused on research into his own painting and simultaneously performs exhibitions and specific commissions for painting, drawing and ceramics.
At the beginning of 2015, Ignacio Navarro was awarded the Honorable Mention Gold Medal for Professional Prestige by the Europa 2001 Forum.
